will a mini me setup pass smog?? i got a 92 DX block with a 94 ex head. i heared that it wont pass but i also heard that you can change stuff under the hood ONLY if its from the same car the same year or older. im from cali so this smog stuff sucks ass.

You can add componants from your year or newer. To a certain extent.
If your compression is too high from changing heads you may not pass.........If it is visually stock appearing, your chances of passing are better. Especially your fuel pressure reg. Put your cat on, and put your stock intake piping and airbox on....stock exhaust manifold.......Go looking as stock as possible and you can pass...........I passed with a cam!!!

Legally in CA you can not mix and match heads, blocks, or other parts. But a mini-me should not cause you to not pass smog. What levels were off and by how much?

i passed with a b7/z6....in vegas though...

they sell this stuff at pepboys called "guaranteed to pass smog"..its a blue box and works like a charm...(dont know if itll hurt your motor)
