here's what im working with right now, want the best i can get for what i have....

building a DD

i got a 97 civic LX with a blown motor for 500 bucks

just picked up a new y7 longblock
and a z6 head
and a full greddy turbo kit :)

whats the most efficient way to get the most power but still be DD reliable?

read the forced induction stickies and engine building stickies
they will be very helpful

i've see some that say u need to change the timing belt, crank pulley and what not, then some that say u can just slap it right on...i just wanna know what all i need before i do it...

yes i will have it tuned, but first i have to put it together haha, once i found out EXACTLY what i need i can get to work ;)

Read the stickies. I know where the threads w/ the info you're looking for are posted from memory. I'm sure you'll be able to find them in the conveniently labeled "engine building" and "forced induction" forums.

use the cam gear, belt, and dizzy from the head youre putting on. use 9 of the y7 headbolts and 1 z6 headbolt......now, use the search button to find out where the 1 z6 headbolt goes

ok well question, can i use the distributor from the y7? i dont have the one from the z6..
Depends, What "OBD" are you going with? did you already check with state laws to see if your swap is legal lol?
