MFactory helical LSD

Available fitments:

40mm
DOHC ZC (40mm, large axle)
35mm

-Made from 100% Pure Australian Steel, NOT cheap Chinese Steel
-Precision-machined from High-Tensile Forged Chromoly Steel for increased strength and durability
-Only the highest quality Brighton-Best Hardware is used
-Maintenance-free Gears eliminates the need for special fluids & rebuilds associated with plate-type LSDs
-Lock-free operation ensures no adverse affect to steering response

What does this mean?

NO need to tear down and reassemble correctly as you do with another brand of LSD.

NO need to replace any hardware.

NO runout problems as there are with another brand of LSD. Runout on the test LSD was .0005"!!!

No diff shim problems. Use OEM diff shims. No need for modded oil ring shims.

No problems with bearing fitment. Bearing flanges on the test LSD measured out at 40.00mm each!

No ring gear bolt clearance problems.

Weighs in at only 10.507 pounds (40mm).

D-Series.org only special, order a final drive at the same time as your LSD and receive 10% off the final drive!

Price is $699.95 shipped. Until I finish up my website and online ordering is available, please PM or email me at [email protected] to place your order. Paypal (add 3.5%), Cashiers Check, or USPS MO's only at this time, credit/debit cards may be used via Paypal if your account allows this. General questions may be asked in this thread or included in your PM/email.

That was just his review. I'm assuming this is an announcement of the release later this month.

y7's do have a small bearing case... it will not work with y7's only option for 35mm bearings right now is the "expensive" one haha

are you serious...

i think y7s have the small bearing case...
I think you missed the point.

If your y7 tranny is a small bearing case tranny..............the LSD being advertised in this thread won't fit....as stated in the 1st post.

Edit: I had to facepalm myself. I just realized you asked if they were gonna make one for small bearing cases not if this one will fit small bearing cases. Feel free to kick me in the jimmy.

I will be looking into having a 35mm LSD produced in the future. Y7 is 35mm.

if it is the original tranny and motor it should have an S20 sticker on the front of the case and a B000 stamp by the drain plug. that is a 40mm/big bearing case. they are stronger than the smaller 35mm bearing case.

bump for Aquafina and his new business with mFactory. Looking forward to having a full tranny built when I can afford it again. My stock S20/B000 will have to do for now.

Aquafina are you going to be offering the Final Drive Ring Gear sets? I'd like to have a tranny assembled with a 4.7 FD and LSD and possibly a custom gearset.
