ok so i can get a set of ls rods for pretty much free.

ive read that the ls rod pin side fits perfect in the 75mm vitara piston i have. meaning that i will only have to machine the wide bearing piece of the rod highlighted with red below. machine it to the width of the d16a6 rod that is.

and i will use my d16a6 rod bearings and the wrist pins that came with my vitaras.

compression in a d16a6 stock should be somewhere around 7.9:1 from what ive read.. is this correct?

this is going to be turbo with a fairly small turbo and should push no more then 300whp at max (.48 .60 t3)

my only reasoning for using these rods is that i can save ~$250.

if anyone can confirm this info i will greatly appreciate it! thanks guys.

You have to have the small end bushed, and by the time you get that done along with replacing the rod bolts and getting the big end narrowed you can just go buy TunerToys or Eagle rods and support more than 300 HP.
