Hello world. I have a 1992 Civic VX that I H22A swapped. This is my weekend HPDE road course track rat. Simple bolt ons with a P28 chipped ECU. 176whp/165wtq. Car weights ~2160lbs with a full tank sans driver. 500/450 F/R springs on adjustable Koni Coil Overs, factory 13mm rear sway, poly bushings, 4 wheel disk brakes from '94 EX. She's a beast. Here's a video highlighting my last track even with NASA South East Region (video description contains nice bookmarked timestamps worth watching):
I've only been to a handful of events in the past couple years, mostly with various PCA groups (I'm a huge Porsche, Toyota, and Honda fanboi), but I like running with the NASA crew. My experience has been with VIR, CMP, RRR, and NCCAR. I hope to continue expanding my track event experience in the future... I'll be at CMP May 1-2 later this year.
I also have a 1990 Civic Wagon RT4WD with the 5+SL Manual trans. I have a lot of hopes for this one. Recently rebuilt the factory D16A6, did a Rywire OBD1 budget harness conversion with a Hondata P28 ECU. I had the viscous coupler rebuilt, all new Koni Yellow Suspension on Integra H&R sport springs, Innovative Front Traction Bar, front suspension lifted 2" (my own leveling kit), 205-65/15 Michelin Defender LTX tires, Megan racing Control arms... The motor was rebuilt with 75.5 Vitara pistons and Speed Factory no notch long rods. I have exactly 8.1:1 CR (compression tested exactly 200 PSI across all cylinders). 3" exhaust . I have another thread post asking for help trouble shooting this car right now as it recently stalled out on me and won't run. That said, I look forward to getting this running smoothly on NA power. I've got a pair of TD04HL-15T turbos from Saab Aero. I plan to run as much as 16lbs of boost or until I get ~275tq. I've got a stage 3 ACT clutch rated for 300 ft-lbs, but after a clutch spring broke, I returned the clutch back to stock for now. I don't know if I will need to go hydro or if I can keep the cable setup with this clutch selection. Plan is to use an A2W intercooler setup where the factory battery and airbox resided once boost is introduced. Definitely more to come on this EE4.
I've got plenty of pics to share. If I see a few replies or requests, I may share...
