Im trying to learn and read compressor maps and boost lag times because I already have on hand is a t3/t4e turbo charger 57ar I can't find a compressor map that has rpm till about 9k

1. I know the bottom of the chart horizontal reads rpm?

2. the vertical reads atmospheric pressure so psi/ map sensor?

3.You want the keep the turbo in a efficiency range with in the island across the rpm range if possible

4. Far left end of the compressor map reading is the surf line?

Wondering if my t3 will work for 400whp range I would like to see any where from 380-460

All the parts
01. King main bearings
02. King thrust washer
03. King rod studs
04. Arp head studs

11. Honda cam cap
12. Delta 272.2 camshaft.
13. Supertech block guard
14. vtec pressure pig tail

Will be coming soon
1. Rc autoworks ram horn
2. Bigger fmic
3. Larger intake mani fold
4. Larger throttle body

Switching if needed
1. Hx 30-35
2. Larger cc injectors 1200cc want to run e85 by next fall
3. S300 boost package

I'm hoping my set up now minus the cast manifold with a rc autoworks manifold could be capable with the t03/04 turbo hit 380-460whp
An if so will spool time be not to laggy or fall flat at high rpm

I've done so much research and hope all this pays off in two weeks when I drop the motor

Thanks beaver man I just learned a lot and had to find a couple different turbo sizes to find out what will work and last with out over heating working in a efficient range this t3/04e will heat up fast at 20psi and my build not saying I'll be boosting crazy all day long but I think a gt30-35 will be best for my set up with a ram horn thanks damn time to up grade lol

Yeah it's going to be between te hx-35 or gt30-35

And yeah that wright up helped out a lot along with the others that I read so I'm pretty sure those turbos will work perfect and spool fast enough to have fun and some top speed.

go with the hx35..build a nice twin scroll manifold for it

well i can tell you don't get the eBay Gt30-35 if you want to make over 400 hp my friend has it and its good to about 18 psi then the intake temp go up rapidly but he is making between 350 and 400 on one at 15 to 18 psi not to bad for a 250 dollor test turbo. It doesn't spool really good till vtec engages 5000 to 5500 then pull real hard to 8500 where the rev limiter is. don't know much about the holset but i would get the hx35 over the hy35. The hx is newer and twin scroll.

P.S did you check out that web site I posted it has all of these turbo maps and if you put in the right info it will map it for you. Squirrel Performance
