where my booster and master meet on the bottem i hear ait leaking out or sucking in not sure what the problem is

Still a bad master. The fluid is pushing backward around the plunger toward the booster.

thats a bad master? i replaced the master a few years back hmm


There is a small o-ring that you need to install with the MC. It seals the brake booster.

Yours is probably fucked. Replace it.

You shouldnt need to replace the entire master cylinder.

When you r/r the seal o the m/c piston, you should remove the m/c from the car. It will allow you to see if the seal is properly sealed. Also to clean the seal seating area. Its possible the m/c seeping fluid into the booster could have caused its diaphragm to become weak/fail.

Personally, I would replace both the seal AND the booster.

Side note: even if you can r/r the seal with out disconnecting the m/c, you should bleed and flush the brakes. Just my suggestion though....
