I have reloaded all the pics in this thread. It is currently up to date. Also the thread has been pruned to eliminate quite a few useless posts.

This thread is updated often. Newest updates are on the last pages. This thread has been 4 years so far in the making

Hey, if Trav can claim his own thread, I can also! lol

Well here are a few pics of my eg with the new rims. 15" konig heliums with 205-50-15 falken azenis. The heliums are listed to weigh 10.8lbs each, so less rotating mass kicks ass. I will get some more pics later, I took these outside my friend Mark's shop on Friday evening.

yeah, the rear sits just a hair lower and it bugs me.

I havent weighed the del sol wheels, I should before I sell them next week. They are 6.5 inch.

more pics to come when I find a kick ass location to snap some shots.

oh yeah, here is my ecu back from being socketed and a basemap burned in. Time to swap ecus and go tune at the end of the month.

looks good man. noice! how are the Falken's? i was thinking about those when i get a set of HX wheels.
I absolutely love the azenis. they are the best tire I have driven on. I have had 3 sets on my accord and this is my 2nd set on my hatch. That has to say something! The dry weather performance is insane. They just stick and stick. The wet weather traction is awesome also. Despite what everyone says, they handle awesome in the rain. If you dont drive like an idiot in the rain, you will be fine. These are not the new azenis, they offered my that option but I declined because I know how these react. I really would like to try the new azenis someday, but not yet. I highly reccomend them. They are a great bang for the buck.

got my new muffler welded to my 5ziegen exhaust piping today. no more fart cannon.

magnaflow oval muffler with 3" tip

well I think I might go dyno the car next weekend if I can get an appointment. I thought that while I was cleaning the inside of the car I would see where a good place to mount my hondata box would be. this is what I came up with. I had a piece of aem intake piping laying around from when I cut out a section for my bypass valve on the accord. I cut it in half, then pounded it out to be straight. Screwed in the hondata box to it and then mounted it to the airbag control module bracket behind the dash.

sexxxy accord levi ...what happend to the saturday treads this week ....you no worky on your ride this saturday ....
pretty boring saturday projects on the civic this last saturday. I removed my front seats and cleaned the bejesus out of them and the carpet. I found almost $4 in change! I was stoked. I even cleaned the seat rails. I installed the hondata box and that was about it. Not really a productive saturday by my normal standards. if I get my dyno spot this weekend, you bet your ass I will have some project pictures getting the car prepped for dyno time.

Well I got the injectors in, the aem fpr in. I had to take out some stuff from the jrsc that the hondata does not need. I put in the ecu started her right up. It was idling pretty bad, but it was idling. So I let it warm up. As soon as I would blip the throttle to 2k, the car would freak out. As soon as the car would see boost, the cel would flash on and the car would almost die. After a little brainstorming, I realized the map sensor was freaking out. Hondata wants you to remove the map off the tb and use the vacuum line that was going to the rising rate fuel unit. Well I did this and capped off the map port on the tb. That is why the car was freaking out. As soon as I moved the map back to the tb, I could free rev the car without it freaking out. Idle was smooth as butter now. Well they warn that the car will run lean when it sees boost with the map in this location for some reason. I took it for a drive, runs really nice......until it sees boost. The narrow band o2 air fuel guage I have would hit lean as soon as boost would build. Something is up. It was getting close to 11pm and I am dont for the night. I will be working these bugs out before Monday, I better work them out, I have a dyno session that is 4 hours away from me! If anyone has any suggestions or ideas, please pass them my way.

before I cleaned it all up and put ecu back

Well I went to dyno the car yesterday finally. My numbers were not what I was expecting unfortunately. Right now I am at work, I have been up for 28.5 hours straight. The dyno was located about 4 hours away from me, it was a long night with my friends car on there. Luckily we got mine done first, took about 3 hours to do since hondata burned a fucking lean as hell map that we had to work with forever. Dave came to hang out and was a trooper and stuck it out til 2am when we finally left. I got home this morning with just enough time to shower and change. I got to install a k20r into an ek road race car last night with the shop owner while my friends turbo d was being tuned. Crazy night, I am tired as fuck, I am seeing shit, cant focus etc. Here is the chart that we finally worked out to be a good conservative tune. This was on a dynapack dyno.

145.3hp and 118.9 ft lbs

I was expecting something more in the 160hp range, but this feels damn good.

I was definately expecting some higher numbers since the blower is ported out and running at 9psi. The guy tuning the car is an awesome tuner, this was his first jrsc tune though. They really do not mess with d-series unfortunately. He spent 3 hours on it and this is what we came out with. We hit a 147.3, but the a/f mixture was a little leaner. I wanted this to be a safe tune since I now drive the car daily and put a lot of miles on it. I am so fucking tired that I havent really had a chance to play with it yet. When you see shit moving in front of you and nothing is really there you kind of dont want to be hammering on the car. Plus the weather on the trip home last night was horrid, it started to rain as soon as we left.

btw, Daves rims look hot.

well I actually washed the car for the first time since March 28th yesterday. It was so bad that my back window has been used for obscene messages over and over again. I never wipe them off. onto some recent dark pics.

here are 2 pics that were snapped of me out on the track this past weekend. it was the first auto x event of the season and what an awesome time I had! the conditions were perfect, great weather, good track set up and the car did awesome. the only problem that I had was that the back end of the car wanted to rotate faster than the front on some hard turns. this might be due to the lack of weight in the rear. at any given time there is probably 100lbs of tools, sub box, amp and various other crap in the back. I never had a problem with the ass end coming out on me up until this last weekend. I pulled some very respectable times out on the track. I did slaughter the same cone in the slalom we had set up on 2 different runs. fucking cone.

this pic was taken right when I was exiting a huge sweeping turn, I was definately trying to scrub off as much speed as I could before the upcoming hard right.

here is the other
