I get full spool about 9-10 psi at 5000rpm in 3rd and only about 5psi at 4000rpm. I know its not supposed to be this laggy. My set up is greddy downpipe, stock cat, 2.25 piping, dynomax muffler, tuned on crome 178whp on a mustang dyno (or about 200whp on a dynojet). I dont think I have any major boost leaks or pre turbo exhaust leaks, only a small leak on my downpipe. I have a brand new 1g dsm bov. The fact is I have no idea why my car is so laggy, has anyone else had similiar problems with the greddy kit.

also get bigger exhaust piping. 2.25 is good for n/a, but you want at least 2.5 i would have thought. Maybe just go 3 inch, then you wont need to change if you go more boost.

My tuner said 11.6 at full boost, not sure about part throttle, my dyno sheet doesnt show a/f . Doesnt seem rich though, i still get the same mpg as i did when i was N/A.

Does gutting the cat have the same effect as a test pipe?

So today I took off my cat and just ran open downpipe and it only helped spool about 500rpm still 10psi at around 4500 in third. So you guys are saying a 3in everything and no cat will give me full spool around 3500rpm where it should be? Its this number wrong, when should the 15g hit full boost?
