Okay...once and for all I need to figure out how I am going to tune my beast!! Here are the basics.....

z6 head with goodies :wink:
y8 block
About 11:1 compression

I have a stock d16y8 in my car right now. Can I just use that dizzy & ECU with the z6 head and use a VAFC? I know Hondata is better, etc etc.., but for the time being it seems like the former is the quickest/cheapest way to go without going TOO cheap. Set me straight...!!

I would not see why you couldn't do that. Don't even think you would need the VAFC badly. Just up your fuel pressure bit and adjust your timing to compensate for the high compression ratio
