Just aquired a 98 civic ex coupe. Has a d16y8 with around 195k miles. Car has been sitting up for about a year but started up fine with a new battery. Its got a noname probably ebay exhaust manifold, but the exhaust tip has KS Type stamped on it..any vlue as to what this exhaust is ive tried the almighty google but came up empty handed. Has a couple issues but hey its $700 so im not complaining it runs with no knocks and shifts good with no grinds. Only issue with trans is the shifter is extermly loose. 1st thru 4th is ok it goes into 5th and doesnt pop out but i can swing the shifter side to side like im in neutral and its sometimes extremely hard to get out of and sounds like its hitting the exhaust. Reverse is pretty much the same. Any advice on these problems?

NAPA sells the shifter bushing that fits into the bottom of the lever.

The energy suspension kit only covers the tranny side and the shifter end of the stabilizer bar.

DO BOTH! feels fantastic, is still under $50 overall, and will save your synchros in the transmission.
