Just another turbo build ... del Sol, ZC, t3/t4, blah blah blah

Hello all, i am somewhat new here still, but thought I would throw my build up now since I have began gathering parts.... I bought a 93 del Sol, bone stock that has lots of body flaws... I swapped in an obd1 ZC and am in the process of boosting it.
My kit consists of:
Garrett t3/t4 turbo .60 trim ---
Cast Iron Mani ---
Ebay FMIC and pipes ---
Go-Autoworks oil lines
Walboro 255 ---
DSM 450's ---
Greddy knock off BOV ---
Wastegate (tial knock off) (8psi) ---
Hondata s300
Greddy turbo timer ---
Competition Clutch Stage 1 (go-autoworks) ---
Autometer Boost gauge ---
Go-autoworks 2.5" downpipe ---

Before this car I had a 02 rsx typeS that i boosted and used mostly ebay parts. I ended up having a lot of issues with the turbo leaking oil, the mani cracking and other stuff, so with this build i will try to do it right. Open for comments along the way, thanks...

ah, and i am hoping for 200whp....

CAR IS DONE!!! I HAD TO GET IT STREET TUNED THOUGH :( WILL PROLLY UPDATE THIS THING W/ DYNO NUMBERS WHEN AVAIL

now on with some pics:

love that rsx
did you sell it turboed??
Yea. I ended up getting 12,000 for it...
my only regret in life is selling that car... i miss her all the time. she only had 75K on her....
Looks good :bigok:

I would suggest installing an HKS beaded head gasket and ARP studs before turboing it. That motor will make 200whp easily.
ah who needs needs anything other than oem head gasket and oem head studs in a del sol to make 200 whp lol nah man i'm just playing those are a good idea. i just said that because i have 296 whp on stock z6 i mean completely stock z6 in a del sol of course. anyways looking good non the less.
Dan, you can't just assume that cuz you did it that anyone else can! LOL Remember, your Z6 is a freak of nature and Lord only knows why it has held together this long!
Stock DOHC ZC headgaskets are "paper" and garbage. I don't know if the A1 hks gaskets are still available, but it would be on the top of my list
That was a nice rsx

^^ this is greg right? we spoke once briefly on the phone, i know you said you had that dohc zc on the site that did 200whp right? Even on around 10psi would i really need the head gasket and head studs?

Also, given the setup listed, should i have any issues hitting 200whp?

anyone know what the stock fuel pump and injectors are good for power wise?

and thanks for all the nice remarks about my typeS, i miss her to death!
here is another pic of her for shits and gigs:

Mud Flaps and GT3s FTW

That turbo also looks like a Garrett 57 or 60-1. My T4 60-1 Compressor housing looks EXACTLY the same. Not anymore though ;)
yea it is a t4 intake side... I havent seen a 60-1 in person though, so im not sure how they compare...
Update time!
i attempted to put in my clutch yesterday... I got the tranny dropped:

Then i got the old clutch off, attempted to put on the new one and realized that it didnt fit. the pressure plate was too big, as you can see here when i laid my old one on top of it:

So, i suppose i shall have to send off for a new one b4 i can finish up this part of the install....

BTW, anyone know if the b series clutch is a bit bigger? I am trying to figure out what clutch i actually received.

dude... why would u downgrade from that nice rsx? wtf

Life happens.
Stock DOHC D will take 200-220WHP before having any issues. This has been demostrated time and time again. A headgasket and ARPs would be a good thing, though. Finding the HKS gaskets are a pain, and most people opt for a cometic MLS gasket, which is what I will most likely do.
