Ive got my Y8 jrsc put together and its goin to be tuned on saturday

I was rereading the install guide and double checking things and I have a question

in the install guide it says to run a vacuum hose from the factory FPR to one of the fittings on the Intake mani (boost) but instead I was gonna run it to the fitting between the S tube and blower (vacuum) where Cruise was supposed to pull vacuum because this fitting is much closer to my FPR, will this make any difference, in factory form the FPR was getting vaccum not boost

also Im not using the JR FMU crap, injectors fuel pump wit tune

thanks for the help

The FPR needs to see a decrease in vacuum to supply more fuel pressure.

Vacuum is at it's highest at idle or when the throttle body is closed and at it's lowest when the throttle body is wide open.

The instructions are right, it needs to be plumbed to the intake manifold to see both vacuum and boost. If you plumb it before the blower, you will see in increase in vacuum as the engine spins faster which will decrease the amount of fuel pressure.

Even though the blower is before it, the manifold still see's vacuum

Sorry, it wasn't clear in the PM that you were talking about the FPR..
