I originally planned on getting a d15b from Hmotors online, so I went ahead and ordered all the replacement parts for the d15b. Long story short steve billed me for a d15B but ended up sending me a d16, I ordered an oil pan gasket, timing belt, water pump, tensioner set, all the oil seals and spark plugs for a d15b, in short what can I use for the d16? everything is still in the original honda wrapper so I can exchange whatever doesn't fit...TIA:wacko:

Pics of the motor and motor stamp would help a lot.

JDM D15B and D16Z6 are similar, but different in many ways.

Take it all back and get things for the z6. Honda parts department will help you with what you need.

D15B timing belt is: p08
D15B oil pump is: d16z6 (same)
D15B water pump is: d15z1

All the gaskets are the same (p08)

Tensioner you have should work. I'm using a z6 tensioner on mine.
