Hi all,

I've got a jdm d15b non-vtec with a d15b1 head. I'm planning on building the block for boost, but I've found that these d15b block's are pretty darn ambiguous. Is this block identical to the one found on the d15b vtec? (save for that thingy you gotta remove to make vtec work), Is there a USDM equivalent block? Should I just toss this and get a d16 block? Just trying to make finding parts a little easier.

D16A6 if going non-tec.
Or D16 block if you have other plans for the head.

you are in san antonio.
have any friends or family in or near Killeen or Belton?

Budget Wrench-a-part is I believe a belton address, right off the interstate going between belton and killeen.

They have flat rates for engines, and almost ALWAYS had civic engines galore.

Many were missing heads, so likely a block rebuild is necessary depending on how long its been exposed, but cannot beat $100-150, or upt o I think 200-275 for an entire motor. Prices changed during the 4 years I was around it, and probably since then (4+ years)
