so ive been on the jrsc website and was just wondering what you guys thought of their power card, for a bolton z6(just i/h/e). would it be a decent way of adjusting my ecu? or is it basically an afc?

and IF you HAD to chose between the jr powercard, vafcII or vafc neo(or afc neo w/e) which would you choose/which one would be better and why?

i know the BEST thing would be chip/tune, but i cant find any tuners close to me, and of the ones im willing to drive to, none of them will touch my auto p28(even though ive read numerous times its the same as a manual p28 and tried telling them that, they just WONT). and since its basically stock i really dont NEED to tune it, i would just like to adjust some things so i figure a wb02 and an afc would suffice...so which would you choose? JR powercard,vafc2 or neo?y?


and please dont talk trash about chipping as i would love to but dont NEED to yet, and this seems easy enough......the JR powercard seems the best to me but want your opinions...

Looks like a 200 pos. Why not just spend that money on a ALREADY chipped p28
X2. phearable.net tell them your exact set up and they'll make it for you.

chipped and basemap $175.

I have a extra basemap laying around for my d16y8 for i/h/e, 450cc, 55shot for $25 shipped.... but..... u'd run pig rich with it haha

We understand that, but what they are saying to see if a place like phearable.net or xenocron will provide a basemap for you, for your auto p28. A base map mite be better.

In all honesty you maybe not be able to tell the difference between it with an auto trans anyway.

Yea way to be a dickhead. I can read , and you said you cant find anyone to do a AUTO ECU. So i said just buy a ALREADY CHIPPED P28 and its not very hard to find a tuner in NC that will tune it. So instead of trying to do that you want to spend 200 bucks on a absolute POS, typical. Heres just SOME tuners in NC that would do that for you. Seems like you tried really hard.

instead of being pissy, why not self chip/tune your ecu w/ crome and an ostrich... get a decent .bin for your car stock and upload and datalog. not really any harder than a hack/piggyback. not a whole lot more expensive if you can chip it yourself either...

both xenocron and phearable's website strictly say *manual transmissions only. and no one wants to chip my auto ecu or tune it IF it were allready chipped. and i have no idea what all is needed to chip/tune my ecu other than a blank 28pin chip and a wb02. i dont know what i need to datalog, idk how to tune with crome uberdata hondata etc...and idk whats needed to burn the chip or how to socket the ecu. thats why i wanted someone to chip/tune it for me(but no one is willing to being its an auto p28)

and im only gettin mad because ppl dont read before posting. i flat out said, no-one is willing to chip and tune my auto p28(including xenocron and phearable.....*m/t only) yet someone still said ....get it chipped and tuned....

Jk tuning have a few automatic turbo cars tuned on uber or crome from what I last heard and my 2 automatic accords seems to be fine automatic chipped...

And so does my girls teggy and my friends civic.. and so does my friends auto chipped 90 ex that's boosted...

Man I guess we play with turbos/nitrous and auto trannies too much..

It can be done just do it...


The autos are weird and there are different ways about going out with a chipped ecu. On my autos even boosted they have all started with bolt ons and an afc. Because the car was cheap. Had a/c (I'm in az) and I love nitrous.. so my autos had an afc for fine tuning which isn't much because the honda computer knows its a/f ratios decently.. I make power from timing adjustments... the afc to ramp timing would lean out a/f's. So that wouldn't be the route to go without a wb02 & afc in unison... the chippped ecus parameters that can be adjust are 3/4 of a standalone with all the new coding coming out...

Crome works with stock auto ecus that have been chipped and run them fine....

Now go find out how to make your ecu work with crome and become a pro and stop bashing people trying to help you in your own thread...

I have one pet peeve about fucking with autos.. the gear corrections... atleast I can't get it to work (timing related only. The fuel stays nice)
