I dont think so man.. Ill be running 8.5:1 CR on a T3 and i know some guys out here running that kind of CR numbers on Sohc motors and it works just well...
YOu just have to get a good sized turbo for what youre doing..

A 60trim turbo will take more time to spool on that compression # than if you had 9.5:1(that was just an example)..

teo4h should be smaller than a T3 so ull be fine IMO

thats a samll turbo for a huge combustion chamber size, i'd go with a t3, but if youre not trying to boost high then i wouldnt worry about it

That low of cr sucks I dont know why you guys insist on making these motors with so frikin low of a cr. the only reason anyone goes that low is like cars that are mass produced.
if you go at least 9.5:1 you will be so much happier with the faster spooling and better low end torque.

personally i run 10.5:1 on a motor pushing 15psi of boost and i still run pump gas and its my daily driver
