Title self explanatory. A friends AT eg needs one and l have a spare MT one.

I know from mt to at is pretty simple, but l couldn't find if the opposite is true or even possible.

Any help appreciated.

If you look up how to convert an Auto to Manual, I would assume the process is the reverse.

IIRC it involves cutting a resistor, so to convert the other way ... you'd have to solder in a resistor to the same position as the one that need to be cut?

I've spent the weekend looking into it and at the ECU, the AT to MT is easyer because it just bypasses the part that controls the transmission.

Apparently I need to swap the parts that controls the transmission into the MT ecu and do the resistor thing. But I dont knwo which one those are. =/
