I have a JDM D15B, and seperate Z6 heads, i was told to swap the heads because the aftermarket support exist and i can rev higher. i want to work on internals, forged pistons, rods, cam, valve train, what brand or parts do you recomend and where can i purchase them, any websites?:hammer: after all my internals are done, i want to boost it.

yeah i want to know too what the difference between d15b and z6...

all i know is if its d15b 3stage vtec.. it has 2 solenoids

Hmmmmm. I may be wrong, But my D15b has no vtec. infact mine had dual carbs from the factory. I guess you can call it a 2 stage carb setup....

mine came from Japan also. Stamping on block says D15B. Maybe they had 2 versions.

they probably did for economical reasons.. you can always change out the manifolds. Buy the head internals are the same as z6 internals. the bottom end is different. I believe the d15b block has more compression

Stock pistons that came out of the motor were flat tops. not dish. I know it has more compression now with the p29's in it.
