what do you guys use to mount your front mounts? what is it called and where can I buy it?

All I found was angle iron strips with pre drilled holes at Lowes...

I just want a flat strip of decent thickness metal with holes.

last build i used a old front crash bumper that was ripped off my car (being pulled with my tow hook)to build my own brackets, this time i took some angle iron with slots in it and welded it to my crash bumper

I drilled a hole in my bumper support and bolted it onto that, but that depends how big ur intercooler is. if the tabs you bought are thin enough you can put them in a vice and bend them to the angle you need to mount.
