Hey guys I got a intercooler question.
Im doing my turbo setup buying part by part and test fitting each part so when the big install day comes everything flows and it cuts down on the install time.

OK here is the pictures of the install as of now.

The intercooler has a tap with a whole in it. I lined it up to the car and drilled.
I plan on using a long bolt/nut with washers, to hold the intercooler to the car. The rod on the left side is there so that the top of the intercooler doesnt move.

Is it safe to leave that there or will it rub over time and damage the intercooler?

The rod is threaded and will have a nut with washer on the top and a nut with washer/tap on the bottome to help hold the intercooler.

Also post up pics of intercooler installs with/without bumper .

Note I will not run the car like this just test fitting to cut done on install day. And I know its a lil small but don't plan on runing much.

bolt + vibration VS aluminum intercooler could be asking for trouble.

why not just wedge a short section of rubber hose down there to serve the same purpose?
