im gonna boost with the next 2 weeks but i was wondering could i damage something if i install my walbro 255 now, i have a adjustable fuel press reg. everything else is stock, i just wanted to get a head start on things.

no man, as long as u have an adjustable pressure regulator, your totally fine. By installing the bigger pump, its just like the stock one in a sense..... except for the fact that when u need the gas the walbro can adjust to that and give you the extra fuel unlike the stock pump cant.... by the way I have one sitting right next to me..... soon to be installed......

here is a diy for a 00 coupe.

pull up your back seat to get to the gastank.

unfasten the lid and pull out stock pump.

unplug stock pump

plug in walbro

replace in tank and put everything back together.



LOL .... in all seriousness ... that is about how easy it is... me and whitemike did it on mine without even having the right tools in like 10 minutes

thats the same for the 96-98 ex's then right??? cuz Id rather do it myself for free than be charged 70 bucks for having my mechanic do it.... and hey my backseat is alrady out....lol.... did u need to adj the fuel pressure after u installed it??

some folks have problems getting fuel pressure down to an acceptable level at idle using a high flow pump even with an adjustable fpr.
