D16 broke a rod ,was still running when acquired in a trade for my yz450f, on 3 cylinders, and still revving up to 5000 rpms. Putting her back together now

Dont mix and match d16 and d17 head and block. You give up oil pressure and flow. Its dumb.

Bascially what happened, is due to no oil draining happening at a proper rate, you pooled up all the oil in the head, running the oil pump dry, and cutting pressure everywhere.

I bet the turbo is hurt badly as well.

I wouldnt even RTV an old ford flathead that makes 6:1 compression.

Some people just need to stay the fuck away from engines if they cannot pick up a guide or tech manual and comprehend what they read.

At this poiont, considering there has not been a reply, I am starting to wonder if the picture is actually a joke of sorts.
