I want to install a 1990 crx SI tranny on a 1988 DX hatch with a D15 DualPoint motor. Is it possable to use the stock D15 clutch without upgrading to a D16 clutch? Also the tranny that it has already is a 5spd but it's the DX-EX tranny I want to know if I can use the shift linkages from the original tranny or do I need the one for the SI tranny?
Let me know thanx in advance.

Shift linkage is the same. If you use the 1990 Si transmission, you need a 90-00 Civic/CRX clutch disc. The 88s have a different spline count.

the 88-89 use the smaller flywheel, gonna have to use a 89 setup.
