Injector clip wiring questions.(diffrent approach)

So this is my question, and for the life of me I have never seen it done.Instead of hacking my dd's wiring could I splice them in sort of like the way 99% of people do on map sensor wiring, when converting to a gm 3 bar, which even hondata recomends on its web site.

My concerns being adding resistance to the circuit.I figure if its not an issue for a map sensor it wouldn't be an issue with injector wiring, but asking never hurts right?I searched on every site I could find and all injector related stuff was asking how to or which color goes where.

The whole reason for asking is for simplicity of swaping back and forth and I just bought some good size supra fuel injectors which have their own toyota style clips which I have.I modded my dsm injectors to fit the stock obd1 clips so I pretty much have a virgin harness and even went so fas as to destroy a good map sensor to make a map sensor adapter to avoid any cutting or splicing and did the solderless injector box install depining my dead plug, which I could repin if I ever needed. This way if I sell the car, sell the setup, switch to bigger dsm/honda style injectors I won't have to do cutting and snipping again.

what is this 'way' of splicing? Are you just talking about puting Supra Injectors clips on your stock injector wiring? You check out www.homemadeturbo.com ? If you are looking for which wire is +; i beleive it is the color that is the same to every injectors (check HMT tho...)
Not what I was asking.

If you go onto hondatas site,in the map sensor wiring the way the connect it is they leave the stock map sensor plug and splice in the gm 3 bar plug,so basically you have 2 map sensor plugs, but only 1 in use.

The way that aplies to what I want to do is instead of cutting off my obd1 honda plugs could I spilce in the toyota clips, while leaving the honda clips on.
I would have 8 clips in toltal but only be using 4.

I just want to know would that cause problems with resistance, injector pulse etc etc. Thanks for the help though, but sorry for the confusion.I may just end up doing it and see what happens
If you are proficient with soldering, then, no, you shouldn't have any issues doing what you want to do.
yea i dont think there would be a problem with doing it, although ive never seen it done. as long as its getting the right ohms, you should be ok.
As long as you splice em with a good connection they should be fine. Soldering would be a good idea.
With how much a PITA swapping injectors is; i'd say just replace your honda plugs w/ the new plugs. Keep you honda plugs w/ your honda injectors and if you switch back, just put the honda plugs back on! 8 injectors is gonna look tacky as hell...
I went ahead and got it done, for the most part it looks fine since its wire loomed up, but everything works ok
