yep.. im on good ole kcsr.. but i tend to keep my technical questions here on this site... much better response, and no hating..lol
So true...most of the honda people on that site are either dumbasses, or very opinionated. Sorry that I couldn't contribute to your thread, I even asked a few of my friends if they knew anything about ihi's, but my search revealed nothing.

take it easy.

It's a smaller turbo, but hey it's still a turbo. I believe it spools pretty fast. It depends on your power goals really. if you just want a turbocharged car I was going to use one for my turbo build, if that ever happens............ bmcracing for the adapter plate. try ebay first though.

im not looking for insane power numbers... and im not even sure if im gonna do it.. i need to run a compression and leakdown on my current z6 (its got 256k on it)... it runs VERY strong for a high mile engine, and there is no sludge, varnishing, or anything in the head or bottom end... its been taken care of very well.....

as for the turbo.. if i did go back to boost, id stick with something smaller... i had a .42/.48 t3 on an ls... loved it.. spool was instant, still held 10psi to redline... it was all i needed. i may look for another .42/.48 t3...

im still not sure what im gonna do... i may leave it n/a and stick my itb setup on and enjoy my gas mileage and just drive it... but we all know how hard it is to keep a car stock

if you want to wait a while, I have a .48/.54 that i'l be pulling off the hatch when I upgrade to a gt30r and ramhorn mani...but that will be at the first of the year if all goes as planned. At least it would give you time to possibly go through that motor and get a stout bottom end in it. Maybe throw some nitrous at it too?

I he doesn't want that turbo I might take it then. I have been planning on going turbo, and that was when I was going to start buying parts. When does it start to spool?

Personally, I prefer making my own adapter plate, that way the turbo can be placed where you want it.

probeperformance.com will tell you everything you need to know about that turbo. You can also swap out the impeller for the impeller in a thunderbird turbo and flow a butt load more cfm.

I got mine from Bmcracing.com I have the IHI probe turbo setup with a HF manifold. Made the downpipe myself. For a daily driver, I'm pleased with it. Running at 7 lbs. It starts spooling up at 2200 rpms. I like it even though its a baby turbo it still pulls.

ive been told that they are very close to t25 specs. i dont know the specs of the t25, but i do know it spools to 14psi in my brothers escort in no time, i mean like instantly. it starts dieing off around 16-18psi so be careful with it, its just a baby ;).
