All 7 transmission bolts are removed from the block, + the three mounts on the transmission, + the subframe.
It's a 5-speed M/T, D17A2.

I've jiggled it, and it's starting to come loose, but, it's putting up a fight.

I started to loosen the pressure plate bolts through the starter hole.
I'm thinking it will come off easier if the clutch pack is on the input shaft, instead of the engine.

Should I leave the pressure plate on the flywheel, and just keep jiggling?

with how little its separated it looks like you have left a bolt in somewhere.

id go over it one more time and ensure you got them all.

usually the pressure plate should stay on the flywheel as that is easier. only thing i could think is if the clutch is rusted to the input shaft. but i doubt that would happen unless the car had been sitting forever. and even then not sure if that would happen.

lastly if you think it is the clutch holding you up go ahead and pull the pressure plate off. it wont hurt anything. just take some time.
