i have a 98 civic dx i just did a vtec head swap and now it starts fine and idles at 2000rpm then as soon as i give it gas the idle drops down to about 1000 then keeps fluctuating to about 1700 rpm and wont stop. when i drive it it feels gutless the only code it throws is a bad o2 sensor. any ideas what it could be?

Honda idle problem - YouTube heres a video of what it is doing. does anyone know what will cause this? i got the knock sensor code off now but it still idles wrong and no codes are coming up. ps the digital rpm gauge sucks and does not register the rpms fast enough

i figured it out. i used my y7 tb and didnt block off my old iacv so it was a vacuum leak. as soon as i plated it off it started right up and idled perfect
