So i bought a 96 civic ex coupe with a manual trans but was told that it needed a iac valve so i bought one and the plug dont go on and doesnt seen like the whole this is gonna work so what do i do

year of chassis and model would sorta help, would also help to know what head and block.....

Unfortunately I can just about bet that the mechanic hes willing or able to pay for ends up here with the same statement/questions. 😕

Automatic uses 3 wire plug and manual uses 2 wire. Where did you source the IACV ?
