I have a adjustable timing gear and what would be the best advice on setting the timing. There is p29 pistons in there also. The head has not been milled due to small chambers but has been rebuild and I am using a y8 head gasket my compression is at 240 psi. I have herd that I should retard the timing and retard the cam gear a couple of degrees. This car is still OBD0 so what do you guys think?

I did a similiar build like this a few years back and I gained like 10whp off retarding my cam 2 degrees!! NO BS Trust me! I did it on the dyno so I know it works!! I still might have dyno sheet laying around also.
