Take a look to theses pictures, y7 head cut for people who want to port or gain knowledge about it. You can see thickness, water jacket position, valve positions. Intake to the right, exhaust the the left.

these ports haven't been modified at all?
the exhaust port seems to be quite shiny. also noticed that the guides are not installed all the way?

thats badass!!

how did you cut it?
Sawzall with long blade, with much time spent on it ;)

This aluminum alloy is VERY hard, blade overheat often, I finally cut it :)

Dude, that is extraordinarily valuable. If someone sent you another head, can you do the same to it?

That is highly deserving of some rep!
Why not ? I can do it for free, but it takes long time to cut !

PM if you want to make a sacrifice !

yes, this head was already polished at the exhaust, and atthe intake casting was grinded little bit and sandblasted after. I scrapped this head because I weld CB, and melted under valve seat, no cheap possibilty to refurbish after all :( I made a sacrifice to science :)

The guides are installed, they don't go far into the ports.
