So I have a 95 civic ex with d16z6 but the main barring went out, and I have a 98 civic dx and the clutch is going out. The 98 don’t have paperwork but I like the body more than the 95 which has paperwork. I also have another 95 with auto trans for parts car but idk what to do lacking motivation
Build the 95, less compromise on the rear suspension, better engine( as long as it's actually a full z6) and who cares about looks? easy to change, some head lights, tail lights, maybe bumper covers and some extra wtf ever to make it suit your taste.
Simple fix, but time consuming. Grab the engine from the 98, put the bad 95's head onto it, and get it running. Change the oil a few times to verify all oil debris is gone, and enjoy a daily driver again.
