I have been searching for a while now but I. Have 1 simple question I can't seem to find an answer or help on. So I have some old unused FJ R Spec rods. Custom lenght for d16. I measured from center to center came up with 139.7 mm in lenght from center to center. I'm wondering if it matters what type of vitara pistons to use with these rods in a d16y8. I see ycp on p0's website with the Teflon coating. I've read some companies changed some specs on these pistons is that true? I'm going to keep searching FYI just seeing if anyone has any info. All I can find is old info haha

look at piston compression height

vitars made for stock use will be 29-30mm height to slap onto stock 137mm rods.

you want the ones that have roughly26-27mm

Hmm, I've always assumed FJT custom length rods were 138.65 mm.
Have to measure them it seems.

the customs are longer so the vitaras can have oem compression ratio. the regular fjs would be better for forged pistons....learning the hard way to help others lol
