Me and my mate are building a stock Z6 for a back road blaster, fast spool is what we want.
How does this spec sound? If I'm right, it'd spool fairly quick so would be ideal

Inducer 48mm (1.88")
Exducer 66mm (2.59")

.60 A/R Compressor Cover

Turbine Wheel (Ceramic)

Inducer 51mm (2.00")
Exducer 43mm (1.69")

.50 A/R T3 Exhaust Housing.

Is this a particular turbo you just pulled specs from? I think a dsm t28 or 14b is a perfect cheap fast spooling turbo for a stock internal d16.

Its from another car. Some Nissan or other. Can pick them up for pennies, whereas the equivalent size T28 etc go for 3 times the amount

Sounds like a pretty big compressor for the turbine.

I wonder if it will have the issues with the turbine wheel like the RB26 turbos. The ceramic wheels fail if the EGTs are too high and have to be tuned accordingly. Dangerous in the hands of bad tuners who dont understand this limitation.

How much power are you trying to make?

sounds just like the T28 off of an RB20DET.... I'd avoid, they don't like going over 14psi.

they tend to explode...

Not aimng for mega power.
Its for night rallies, so we need to retian some reliability. 200whp would be ideal and wont be pushing the stock limit Id have thought.
