i have d16z6 engine i want to know does my Coolant Temperature Sensor work well (can this sensor cause a lot of carbon deposit on spark plugs)
also i have removed thermostat and installed a bigger radiator
can all of this cause 1.5k idle
and i have a purge solenoid valve which is not connected (do i have to connect it)

your car will never heat up without a thermostat. a larger rad is overkill and not needed.

it may cause the car to idle high if the ECU thinks it is always warming up.

you will know if the sensor is bad because the ECU will throw a code.

i have removed the thermostat and my car warm up
can the temp coolant sensor fail without giving code
is there is any relation between this sensor and the carbon deposite on the spark plugs

if the car thinks its still cold, the ecu will dump more fuel

with no thermostat, your car should NOT get warm if its moving. if it does, something is wrong.

without thermostat car will never correctly heat up, engine could be running hot and you'd get no heat.

I don't care where your OEM temp gauge is reading, it has a wide VAGUE zone.
