Is there anyway to tell before pulling the trans which bearing is fubar? By the sound, it's very obviously a bearing. It's a low frequency rumble at low rpm increasing to a screech at about 4k. The sound is only present with clutch out(engaged) in all gears including neutral, whether driving or stopped. The sound disappears entirely with clutch in from idle all the way to redline. The sound starts to soften with the slightest pedal pressure and lessens to gone as pedal is pushed to the floor. The sound only returns once the pedal is FULLY out. I don't really feel vibration in the stick or clutch pedal but feel it plainly with a foot flat on the floor pan. I've tried to localise it with a screwdriver to my ear to no avail. I've drained and strained the mt fluid and theres nothing but clean fluid. The clutch, PP, release bearing, flywheel, pilot bearing, both drive axles, front wheel bearings and hubs were all replaced by me 11k ago. There was no noticeable play in the input shaft when the clutch was replaced. The car shifts great, there's no change in the clutch feel or operation but for the last couple of months it has been occasionally popping out of 2nd gear only.
Any help would be much appreciated!
