What do you think I should expect to pay for a D16Y8 head with the complete valvetrain assembly and VTEC solenoid? I know of one for sale, but I don't know what to offer/if it's worth it. Also, I'd appreciate it if anyone could direct me to a list of modifications/parts I would need to swap onto the D15 in my '91 Civic. I'm sure the second part's been covered before, so I'm just asking for the map to the bathroom, and not asking for one to be drawn out for me, so to speak.:mrgreen:

I have a complete Y8 head that I'm selling for $200, but that includes a near mint VC on a head that has under 100k. Heres a link on how to do a Z6 head on a B7 block. It should be the same info that you need (Someone correct me if I'm wrong). Also, since you have a 1.5 liter '91 Civic, I assume that your DPFI, convert to MPFI when you do the head swap. I included a link for that too.

I was just going to say know more then $200 where I live. Everyone and there dog has a B-series swap in my city, we have a big Honda thing going here so if you know people you can get a whole bunch od D parts just lying around. It's like I do people favours taking parts.

Not too many people around here are doing the honda thing, but where I'm moving I'm pretty sure things will change. We'll see what I can find.:mrgreen:

I got mine for chipping an ECU, just needed a resurface... which is never a bad idea when buying a head.

I wouldn't pay more than $100 personally.
