with the bisi kit you don't need to notch the frame rail if im correct in a 88-91 crx/civic chassis. i have test driven one and its a blast. think of a d16a6 with a shit load of torque.

my tuner is doing a dohc non vtec f swap into his 99 ex coupe... going to try and find the limits of the stock block boosted...
 that sounds delicious, from what i read it was about 320whp, they make more tq than hp. and that = :bigok:

^ better get some pics together and a build sheet, i would love to see what kind of abuse that motor will take, i'd really like to see the tq numbers on a fully built dohc 2.2. haha the 2.2 litre is our big block

An f22 would be the tits in a civic. I used to be an accord owner and love the f22a6 lol.

i am in process.. when the F2B kit gets here, it will done soon after..

1) with the bisi kit, you have to make sweet love to the frame rail. unless you run his pulley. this is for the F2B. the F2D, well thats a lot of other things.. the QSD kit requires that you fuck your frame rail like its you first piece of ass after 10 years in the slammer. no one but bisi makes a F2D. there is a completed F2D on this board.

there are only two kits on the market. the one by bisi and the one by QSD. there are things that are issues with both kits. i have gone over this a lot over the last two years. i am not going to do it again, but i will link you. i'll give you a hint.. its in by build thread for the EJ6 ;).

2) the stock block fails near the 300 whp/tq limit. yes, i said 300 whp and ft lbs. cory is right, the f makes tq numbers close to its whp numbers, if not the same.

3) where do you think grounded got some of his info? and sick? lol.. me. f22aX has the best flowing head. the bottom end of the f22a and f22b are basically the same, if you stay sohc. the dohc heads for the f and h will bolt right to a sohc block. its called a g motor.

4) the most power i have see, dyno, is ~550 whp and 480 ft lbs. after this, the guy went with a dohc set-up. not sure why, since the f22a head flow is insane. port it and your going to get really high cfm quickly. it also has head design in its favor. look in sick's build thread, i went over it.

more info? PM me. i'll give it to you.

there is another member on the site also, but iirc he is one of the people that mindless had you go look for.

i left out grounded's accord thread, because a lot of info was not placed there. being that he knows how to use a forum, i just lead him over to cb7tuner.com. they have more info on the f22a then most other sites. sadly, they are major pricks that even i cant deal with..
