Just heard Honda Tuning magazine is discontinued :frown: They sent me a Superstreet instead with note, but HT was the only magazine I actually liked. I guess not too many people actually buy the hard-copies anymore, so I can see why. I was always hoping someday I could get one of my cars in it, but that won't happen now.

I subscribe to ht and ss....cout yourselves lucky my ht sub got swapped to "automobile magazine" stupid shit...I wrote them a strongly written letter ... if your going to cancel mid term, offer me a prorated refund or a list of magazines to choose from....its a stupid magazine I wouldn't even grab if it were free

I've seen countless posts over the years, where a guy knows a guy that heard HT was shut down so I didn't think much of it. Now I see it's for real.

Superstreet sucks, it's got one K-swapped civic show car and a bunch of wanna-be drift car crap.

NOO!!!!!!! they discontinued Modified magazine this year too ;( Those were two my two favorite magazines!!!!! ;(

All the others are just softcore porno to me.... (Specifically SuperStreet and Import Tuner) Don't get me wrong though they do have good articles sometimes... (Import tuner has a nice tutorial on wire tucks etc.)

I'm glad to at least have kept all my hard copies of HT so I can go back and browse through them...

Yeah this does suck hearing this. I caught wind of this a few months ago as well. It was a goal of mine to get my EJ in this mag, but now it looks like SS will be my next aim. It will happen its just a matter of time...

At least they are combining the magazines, we will get some Hondas still. The last couple of SS before this month had cover cars that were the same, K-swapped Integras. Yeah its all baller shit, no tech, and lots of ads now. I hope there is a positive change when they incorporate the other mags insight to this bloated trash they call a mag, this coming from a ten year subscriber.

I'm sorry but SS just isn't good. They seem to try to cover everything and yet nothing.
Though I'm biased, I want Honda's not models and the newest "trendz".

Hot Rod Magazine is great and has got lots of informative material about many makes and models of cars with information and techniques that spread across all engine types.

One thing I do like about Import Tuner is that they do actually have at least one article per magazine that is technical. They also have a lot of there past articles archived and available for free on their website.

I personally just want technical info for the most part in a car magazine. But I guess I am about 1 out of 10 of the people that read these magazines. Unfortunately, a lot of these magazines use the "put hot girls on the cover" sales technique because it gets people to buy the magazine that might not have otherwise=lame IMO
