decided to outfit my car for competition in the NASA Honda Challenge series
I was reading the rule book and I wanted the compete in the H2 limited prep class it's kinda vague to me a little couple of question if you could answer them

1. Can I swap to a AM Intake manifold and throttle body?

2. I can only increase compression .5 over stock right?

I assume we are talking about a D-Series...

Any OEM Honda/Acura throttle body may be used with an outlet size of 62mm or less.

Compression via head shave and head gasket unrestricted.

Intake unrestricted except no ITBs.

Cam, springs, valves, retainers, and springs unrestricted.

Seems all the power options for the H-2 limited prep are in the head alone as the bottom end must be OEM for the engine code.

yeah we are talking about a D cool now I have a D15b2 (91 Civic Dx) and I did a DPFI to MPFI conversion am I still good can I swap to a D16a6?

sorry to thread jack.. but how does that work? i have a b swap in my 95 civic and i would like to compete in the honda challange and go compete in autocross.. but everyone tells me with my suspension mods and motor mods i will be grouped in the unlimited class or something like that

damd it then i guess i might have to do TT, cause i want to run ITB.

I want to compete but dont know if it will come around where I live, or atleast close.
