holsets on d16

anyone got experience with holsets on a d16? i got a turbo dumped on me, i think it’s an hx40 single scroll? it’s gotta 18cm housing, 60ish? mm fan, 7 blade.

i’ve got a td04h-15g but i’m wondering if this would be a better option. it looks pretty big but i know people who were considering 80mm so that’s super big.

goal is 275-350whp

put it on and see how it goes.
I did a similar size install for a guy but the exhaust was 12cm ..should spool up slightly before redline in 2nd gear..

holset he221 with a td04hl exhaust housing , now that would be tits.

ok well if that’s the case, i’ll probably stick with the td04 for now. tryna get that quick spool. i gotta do some fab work to get the holset on.

also i shoulda specified, it’s 18cm compressor, 12?mm turbine maybe should have measured it.

does it have an id tag ? should give some specifics with some digging,,
