Hey guys,

Hope some of you remember me. If not, I hope you guys can still help me out lol

So I am starting my final and I have no idea what to make. Kind of weird because I've been wanting to do this stuff ever since I could remember and now that I have a chance, I have no idea what to make :3dtard: Final is to do something on a cnc machine. I am using butterboard or might be able to do aluminum. Ill ask next time I have class.

I've been wanting to do something simple with a couple of moving gears. But any idea will be taken into consideration since I am completely stumped on this.

Tools I have to my disposal are:

1/8" Flat Endmill
1/4" Flat "
3/8" Flat "
1/8" Ball "
1/4" Ball "
3/8" Ball "
82/90 deg countersink

So guys, let it rip. I need ideas!!!!

Thanks

PS. If I can use aluminum I'd be willing to make something for your cars. Like a brake booster brace or something.

Make some wheel spacers. Haha. :D

Hmmm what else... you could make a steering wheel spacer. That would be sweet.

Or better bet, your own quick release hub!! That would be bad ass.

Does it have to have moving parts/gears, etc?

The QR hub would be sick if you had to do that. IDK about the splines though?

Another cool thing would be a k-tuned style shifter, with mechanical options. Bad ass.

Aluminum pedal set? That would be sick and super custom. Not just pedal covers, but the complete pedal assembly. Billet. So sick.

Hey man,

Quick release hub sounds like a pretty good idea.

I was looking at something like this last night

Looks pretty simple to make. Not to many moving parts. Or do you have any other styles? And Ill talk to the teacher about the splines.

About the K-tuned style shifter is this what you are talking about?

Billet RSX Shifter Box

This is honestly the first time I've seen these, what exactly does it do better then the OEM with poly bushings and a single/double bend shifter lever? (Sorry for my lack of knowledge. AW11 doesn't have much so I'm pretty limited on some of these cool new (to me) toys lol)

or you can do pedal covers as well.
What style?

Maybe some Razo style pedals?

Integra Type R?
JDM Integra DC5 Type R Pedal Assy Complete Kit w/ Dead Rest

These rennline style look pretty cool

Hhhhmmmm, you could do LCAs, differential housing, phone case, drop spindles for my truck lol
hm... I think pretty much everybody and there moms are making aftermarket LCAs.

All the others... I dunno lol

Motor mounts, shifter extensions, strut bars
Not sure about motor mounts. Shifter extensions are pretty cheep on ebay. Strut bars, with the dimensions I could make some. I've been working on some for the MR2. Put a halt for the moment so I can dedicate the last bit of time for my finals.

And a lower brace

Sorry guys, spent all last week with my gf and her fam due to a family death.

This is the k-tuned shifter. Fits D's/B's etc.

Ohhhh I see it lol. It all makes sense now. That is actually a pretty good Idea. I like it. But I have to stick to Aluminum. Due to the abuse, I'm sure steel would work much better for this.

Muuuuffffffuckin Ghost! How've you been man.

A quick release sounds like a legit project.
Que dices ghuey!!!!!!!!! I've been good bro. Just working, home, chillen, school y con la ruka. Sup with you brotha???

Decent idea but that would be a bitch every time you wanted to add oil!! lol.
Yea forgot the Hondas are screw in.
All these ford just have a a twist and lift.

But it could still work. I well.
What about a two piece? Bottom piece screws on, other peace with the nipple twists off? Could def work.

Let me get back to you guys in a few. I think the quick hub might be what I do. Gotta do some sketch work.

build an X-bar targa top replacement for del sols so you can be mostly topless without total chassis stiffness destruction.

I'd buy your prototype.
