p28 would be the one i think... im not sure where a p06 is from... ive heard that there would be problems using a stock p28 on a y8 cause the maps are a bit different, but im not too sure.

yeah get a p2p map for your p28 ecu..stock for stock the p28 map is diffrent..something about the timing.

also p28 is the vtech ecu and the po6 isnt...correct me if i'm wrong..i dont have a p29 i have a p72 in my 98ex

P06 is non-vtec d15, it can be converted to run vtec (basicly a p28 at that point), just get a p28 with crome, etc. and the right map for your motor. If you are using an obd2 chassis you could probably use a p2p ecu if you have everything it will want, ie. cat (2nd o2), knock sensor, etc.

P28 ECU --->92-5 CIVIC SI/EX (sohc vtec 1.6 motors)
P06 ECU --->92-5 CIVIC LX/DX (sohc 1.5 motors)

best choice is a p28 since it activates vtec and maps are closest in stock form. if you end up with p06 a conversion is required as in VTEC hardware and actual chipping for the program, in the end it might just be more cost effective, to purchase p28.
