So the timing belt on my d15b8 just snapped on the interstate...when I get the new belt how do I put it on and how do I get the timing set right again....keeping in mind everything is together and there is no belt to make any marks

Step 1: get a complete "Honda Factory Service Manual" the one for your motor/car. Not just the Chiltons from the "Zone"

Step 2: Have a camera that you can load pictures on here with

Step 3: report back

EDIT: This will prolly help alot but it's for a Z6 just remember that when you bust the manual out.

You gunna open the head and verify you have good parts in there still? If you heard slapping the pistons may have made contact and bent some valves. If you broke your belt while moving I am guessing the gear was engaged and thus making your pistons still active, so if a vavle was open then, yep contact. After you check that you should worry about a timing belt.
