I bought a dizzy for mpfi swap and I am not sure if it works. I am going to replace the cap, but on American cars the rotor pops off for replacement. I can't see how the "rotor" comes off on these Japanese dizzy's. Can anyone help? I have looked in the manual with no luck. Is it worth fixing or should I just try to locates a working dizzy?

There is definitely a screw on the rotor that must be removed before it can come off. Pretty easy. If it is stuck or rusty, use a small amount of WD40 on a screwdriver to drip it onto it for some help breaking it free. Careful to use the right size screwdriver as the screw could be very tight and you don't want to strip it.

Have fun!
