help 98 civic swap intergra

1870 Views 17 Replies 9 Participants Last post by  clay.bell12
my friend is parting out a 98 integra and i have a shot front passenger caliper on my 98 civic dx. What can i pull off his integra onto my car.

Shocks
front and rear disk brakes
brake booster and cylinder
control arms?

i'm not really sure
from my understanding its all just bolt on swap
i've done some research but i'd like any more input if there is anything else to pull and any little feedback
i'm in norwalk if anyone wants to help or pull more parts for their own rig

If he is a good friend tell him to hook it up and throw in the sway bars,
You need his e-brake cable or and an extension to yours , and what kind of coil overs and axles are you getting for 5 bill that's a little steep, right ? Integras often have kyb gr2 shocks which are great just bump the bad ones over for the good . And the tweaked ones work but they will make a scratching noise. I did the same thing pulling off a set of springs one time and used the shock for about two months.
The best/inexpensive upgrade on a civic is integra parts.

but if money is not the issue then base it off of the main use of the car ie.. DD/ auto -x/ track -drag/ so forth.. the harder your drive the better your brakes need to be. but at any rate a set of drill or slotted rotors up front will do just fine with name brand pads. rear brakes dont do much of your stopping but they do help. ie hand brake and the car starts to over steer.
