Does anyone have a link to show what needs to be done to replace the heater core? and what kind of time frame would it take to do 4-6 hours? I'm pretty tool savvy so shouldn't be too bad but just wanna get some info before i start ripping stuff out that i don't need too. I heard that you have to pull the whole dash board out.. this sounds like a pain in the ass. any info would help.

thanks.

Ive never done this just for the heater core, but when I stripped my Civic to a bare shell, I took dash out, air passages, air blower and its main air passage followed by the entire heater centre console in the middle (assuming thats what your talking about). Its not too bad, just get rid of your seats and centre console etc and it will be much easier.
