I have a 1990 DX hatch and swaped in a JDM D15b V-TECH with a p28 ecu and obd0-obd1 jummper harness. i wired multiport, td-42u dizzy and vtech. im pretty sure everything is wired correctly i followed some writeups i found on the internet car starts right up but wont stay running unless i am on the throttle. and i took it for a test drive and it breaks up a lot.
I have no clue what i can do to fix it so any suggestions would help thanks in advance.

OP, when you say it "breaks up alot" do you mean that it sputters? or missfires?

set crank to TDC

loosen tensioner

remove timing belt from cam gear

set cam to TDC

put timing belt back on cam gear

set tension
