hi guys, working on my 97 ex, like the tittle says it had hard start and idle all they long, but bogs and die when press the gas.

The car is Dyno tuned and is build since 2010.

No CEL
Compression 200 across the board
New ECU.
New MAP (Omni 3bar) and TPS
Distributor from a working engine (OEM), NGK wires and plugs.
New Walbro and OEM fuel filter

I have the car with the charge pipe removed and it rev's if I spray carb. cleaner, so it's injection electrical related. The harness was taken out and check for continuity and all seems fine.

Any help will be appreciated.

have you messed with tps or map or both recently?

sounds like you got the 2 plugs switched for them. i did it once and had a similar problem.

i cant think of the wire colors for each but a little searching could find it. or some who does know may chime in.

also if you did mess with the tps its possible that it just needs adjusted correctly.

As said ^

Also an you have the tune reloaded to the chip? I heard of people's ecu loosing the tunes.
Or if you use a willem for a 512 chip and dont run an 8000 offset..

The plugs are correctly, this start by himself slowly like a hiccup when press gas and get worse. Honestly every single sensor is new and getting voltage, grounds were cleaned and two were added. we have the car at the shop the last two months and every day that I try to work on it is like something frustrating.

Tomorrow I going to made a new chip. But if I not mistake, I made a new one for the new ECU.

Sorry for any language mistake....

Is 009 resistance in the TPS signal wire fine?

I'm reading 0.48 closed and 4.46 at WOT.

All my sensor pop up the CEL when disconnected, but the MAP not. This is any indication of something?

I already send my MAP to Omni and they send a new one.

Yes I bought a new ECU from Advancedignition.com

The datalog in idle shows -28.0

Trying to post a photo of the datalog, but I can't upload attachments.

Yes, this is the MAP used since tuned Omni 3 bar, setting on mbar and volts.

Uptwonsam, Do you refer to the power to the circuit with 5.0v on the map and .5 to 4.5v on TPS signal?

We are a little concern about my map signal wire disconnected voltage, I was told in HT that it should be 5v, and mine is measuring 3.54v which I think is normal.

28 in hg is damn good.
You sure that's right? For a normal idling civic I normally see 21-24 at best.
Does this value change when you try to rev it?

Basically does the ecu see the map sensor?

And weird it just all stsrted.
If it was me I'd put in factory ecu/ disable ecu.
And oem injectors for testing.
