Doing a y8 build soon and i need the space up front. Im doing a EH Half rad so i can hopefully use my sinktrap. My question is will the hacking affect my car alot? I heard its just a notching, but will it affect the way its drives? Is it even worth going half rad? None of that "buy this $300 radiator" stuff please, i dont even have $300 in the motor so that is out of the question.

Any response is helpful.
Thanks

edit: Whoa.....nm. I see you said cross member.

Do yo mean rad support? You should be able to hack away your rad support to get the rad to fit. I wouldn't hack away too much at the crossmember.

dont cut your cross member... that keeps your wheels in place. if that fails you fail. hehe. into a wall.

like others said
u should be able to just cut the rad support a bit to make it work.
